I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
